16th IACC Rescheduled: Malaysia 2-4 September 2015
To all our constituents, friends and supporters,
We are delighted to inform you that the 16th IACC will now take place in Malaysia from 2 - 4 September 2015.
The conference will be jointly hosted with the Government of Malaysia, the National Anti-Corruption Commission, and the Malaysian Society for Transparency and Integrity (TI Malaysia).
As we announced in July, Tunisia held its first free parliamentary and presidential elections from October through December. Due to the proximity of these elections to the IACC, the Tunisian Government requested the postponement of the Conference. While we remain fully committed to supporting the people of Tunisia, the ongoing election schedule makes it challenging to host the Conference in Tunisia in the immediate future.
Work towards organising the 16th IACC programme continues. The Conference theme remains “Ending Impunity: People, Integrity, Action.” and the IACC team is currently finalising the plenary sessions design and the session proposal shortlist for workshops. We will keep you updated of our progress over the coming weeks and months. Please feel free to share this with your colleagues and networks and, as usual, do be in touch on our social media channels,
Facebook and Twitter.
We thank each member of the global anti-corruption movement for your support and patience and we look forward with excitement to being able to welcome you to the 16th IACC in Malaysia in September.
Our best regards,
The IACC Team
